GIRLS MINISTRY
Girls Ministry is specifically designed to help prepare our girls for the future by providing them with a solid foundation on the Word of GOD.
The fivefold purpose of the ministry is first and foremost to win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. We secondly want to teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us- developing girls spiritually and mentally. Next we are here to provide encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationships. Fourth we provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities. Lastly we hope to acquaint the girls with The Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Girls Ministry Clubs are age/grade appropriate. We have the Rainbows for the 3-4 year olds for both girls and boys (this is the only club that offers this all others are for girls only), the Daisies for the 5 yr olds (kindergarten), Prims for 6-7 yr olds (first & second grades), Stars 8-10 yr olds (third-fifth grades), Friends 11-13 yr olds (Sixth-Eighth grades) and Girls Only 14-18 yr olds (9-12 grades).
We meet every Wednesday from 7:00-8:15 pm at First Assembly of God. We have caring and dedicated sponsors, annual themes with sleepovers, mother/daughter banquets with lots of fun activities, raffles and badge presentations. The Girls Ministry Clubs are here to help our girls establish a strong foundation on the Rock of our salvation while having fun.
